family residences and two new duplexes in the Greater Ville Neighborhood of
North St. Louis. The $5.2 million development, financed using Low Income
Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), brings the total to 55 new residential units, two
rehabbed apartment units and one rehabbed commercial building Curtiss Byrne has
designed for Northside Community Housing, Inc. over the last five
years.

Universal Design Prototype House Pagedale,
MO
Completed in 2004, this 1,250 sq.ft. residence was built to
showcase universal design in an affordable residence. Some of the accessible
features include stepless entries at the front porch and garage, a tiled
roll-in shower and a kitchen sink with hide-away doors. Curtiss W. Byrne
Architect's design received an Award for Excellence from the Starkloff
